You and me for the rest of the season

Hey guys,

I'm looking forward to keeping everyone updated on my blog throughout the rest of the season. To start, I'll fill you in a bit on my life on and off the field.

So far the season isn't as perfectly planned as we thought it might be. Of course you hope to win more games, score more runs, and make more catches. But, I'm confident that there's still hope for us. We're still fighting, and we've got something to play for.

I want to make all of you at the Yard proud and plan on doing so for the next few months. I'm a strong believer there's no "I" in "TEAM" and all of us O's are working together to do our best.

We're in Toronto now and then Kansas City for a few days. It's always a little harder not to play in front of our fans. Toronto's been a pretty cool city so far and the weather hasn't been too bad. But, I'm definitely looking forward to being back for a seven-day homestand in the beginning of August.

I just want to thank everyone for their support so far this season and I'm looking forward to keeping everyone updated from here on out.
