Hey everyone,
I've been so impressed the past few weeks with how the city of Baltimore has embraced Buck and the idea of change. I really feel like we now have someone who can really help in taking us to where we need to be.
It really means a lot to continually have the fans' support out there, so I just wanted to thank everyone for supporting Buck and the new change the O's have had.
I'm looking forward to heading out to California this weekend - It's always nice to be back near my hometown in San Diego.
I also wanted to answer Ken Francis' question from last week:
"Who are your favorite players to watch, both on the Orioles and among the other teams, and why?"
My two favorite players to watch are Cesar Izturis and Torii Hunter.
I like watching Izturis because he plays the game one way, which is smart. He just goes out there every day and does what he needs to do, and he doesn't get up or down - he stays consistent.
I also really like watching Torii Hunter play. He's older than me and he's a great example. He's always having a ball out there and always smiling. You gotta have fun to play this game and he does it every day. Torii's squad knows that he has their backs, and that's so important.
