Preparing for O’s FanFest

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday at Orioles FanFest! It’s always a great opportunity to answer your questions face-to-face. This year MASN will re-create our web studio at the Baltimore Convention Center where Roch Kubatko, Steve Melewski and the gang will be blogging live from Fan Fest.

Plus, all of you who’ve been wondering whether Roch’s perfect hair is truly real, and if so, just how one man can use that much gel, this is your chance. I hear he’s booked for a fan photo session at 4 p.m., so look out single ladies!

Friday on “The Mid-Atlantic Sports Report,” Roch and I will have a chance to chat with O’s manager Buck Showalter. Be sure to tune in around 5:15 p.m. on Friday.

It’ll be my first chance to pick his brain on the upcoming season, so I’m hoping to get more clarity on certain issues before FanFest.

I’ll address the number of arms Dan Duquette has stockpiled. A big question for me is: Is anyone penciled into this rotation? Also, we’ll discuss some of the question marks like second base and the designated hitter position. Plus, why Jim Johnson will be remaining in the bullpen and why Mark Reynolds will most likely play third in 2012.

What do you out there in the blogosphere want to ask Buck Showalter? You can comment on the blog or hit me on twitter @AmberTheoharis. I’ll read your questions (if appropriate) on air!

As for FanFest, look for me on the Q&A stage for a fan forum from 2:45-3:15 p.m. along with other members of the Baltimore media. Roch and I will be taking pictures with fans from 4-4:20 p.m. and then I’ll host Family Feud near the MASN booth at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. It’ll be your chance to win tickets to Orioles games plus even a chance to win a suite at Camden Yards for one game.

See everyone Saturday!
