We all know Brian Roberts was placed on the 15-day disabled list Monday. However, reporters just found out shortly before the game that Roberts received an epidural in his back. There's nothing impressive at all about a veteran pitcher throwing 100 pitches and only making it three batters into the sixth inning as Kevin Millwood did Opening Day in Tampa. April is an exciting yet brutal month on the baseball schedule because in most cities, spring hasn't sprung. It's freezing and the threat of a rain delay or postponed game always looms heavy.
