Viewers can then go to wjz.com or MASNsports.com to register for the contest and enter the correct answer.
Viewers can also watch MASN’s “Hot Stove” program on February 22 (7:00pm) for a recap of the week's daily questions. All web-based entries must be received by 11:59pm on February 22, 2008.

MASN AND WJZ PRESENT “BE THERE FOR SPRING TRAINING” Contest Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
How to Enter the Contest:
(a) The MASN AND WJZ “BE THERE FOR SPRING TRAINING” Contest will begin on Monday, February 18 2008, 12:01AM and end on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 11:59pm.
(b) Twice a day, each day, from Monday, February 18, 2008 through Friday, February 22, 2008 a “BE THERE” question will be read on television on WJZ 13. One “BE THERE” question will be read between approximately 5-7 am and one “BE THERE” question will be read between approximately 5-6 pm each of those days. For your chance to win, entrants must watch WJZ 13 for the “BE THERE” question , then go to www.wjz.com and link to www.masnsports.com to submit the correct answer to a “BE THERE” question online. Or watch MASN’s “Hot Stove” program on February 22, 2008 for a recap of the week‘s daily “BE THERE” questions. All web-based entries must be received by 11:59pm EST on February 22, 2008. First and last name of all entrants establishes the identity of the entrant and must correspond with the name of the holder of the e-mail account. Any effort by an entrant to misrepresent themselves through the usage of aliases and email addresses will disqualify entries of that entrant. Entrants may also enter via mail-in entries. Send a self-addressed stamped envelope or postcard containing, name; address with city, state and zip code; and phone number with the correct answer to a “BE THERE” question. Mail-in entries must specify the sweepstakes being entered and contain all information as requested on the entry form (including email address, if available.) Mail entries to: The MASN and WJZ “BE THERE FOR SPRING TRAINING” Contest, MASN, 333 West Camden Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21201. No copies, facsimiles or mechanical reproductions will be accepted. All mail-in entries must be postmarked by 11:59pm Friday, February 22, 2008, and be received by the close of business three days after postmark date. By participating, all entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules.
(c) Only one (1) entry per person, per question, per day will be accepted. If multiple entries are received, only the first entry will be entered into the Contest and other entries will be disregarded.
(d) Sponsor is not responsible for technical or computer failures, errors or data loss of any kind, lost or unavailable Internet connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or deleted computer or network transmissions, inability to access any Web site or on-line service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, illegible or misdirected entries. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If the judges determine, in their sole discretion, that there is any suspected or actual electronic tampering with the Contest or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Contest, the judges reserve the right to void the entries at issue and/or terminate the Contest and conduct a random drawing to award the prize among all eligible entries received as of the termination date. If the Contest is terminated due to tampering or technical difficulties prior to its expiration date, notice will be posted at www.wjz.com. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsors which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, Sponsors reserve the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any entrant that tampers with the operation of the Contest or website or violates the Official Rules of the Contest.
By use of this website and by entering the Contest, you agree to the Sponsors’ Web Site Terms of Use Agreement and to the use of your personal information as described in the Sponsors’ Web site Privacy Policy.
(e) Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.
2. Eligibility Restrictions:
(a) The Contest is open to Maryland, District of Columbia, North Carolina, Virginia, Delaware, West Virginia and Pennsylvania residents who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees and immediate families or household members of Sponsors and their respective parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries, are ineligible to participate in this Contest. Also, TCR Sports Broadcasting Holding, LLP, WJZ-TV CBS Corporation, other television and radio stations in the Baltimore and participating markets, and their affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising agencies and their immediate family members and those living in the same household are ineligible to participate or win. All federal, state, and local rules and regulations apply.
(b) Viewers are eligible to win a MASN or WJZ-TV contest/sweepstakes only once every sixty days. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest/sweepstakes. Viewers are eligible to win a prize valued at $600.00 or more only once every six months.
(c) All entries become the sole property of MASN and will not be returned. By entering, entrants agree to abide by these rules, and warrant and represent that their entry is their original work, and grant to Station the right to edit, publish, promote and otherwise use their entries without further permission, notice or compensation.
3. Prizes: 1 prize to be awarded
(a) One (1) trip for four (4) to Orioles Spring Training includes roundtrip coach airfare for four from Baltimore/BWI Airport to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, two-night family suite hotel accommodations at the Pelican Grand Beach Hotel, four tickets to the March 16, 2008 Baltimore Orioles vs. the Washington Nationals game where winner will throw out the first pitch, $100 in Bird Bucks, $500 gift card, dinner for four aboard the Grand Floridian Yacht on March 15, 2008. Prize is valued at $2,500. Any cost incurred from deviating from pre-booked travel arrangements are the sole responsibility of the Contest winner and not Sponsors.
Prize does not include items not specified, such as travel insurance, hotel room service,
parking fees, laundry service, food, alcoholic beverages, merchandise, souvenirs, etc.
(b) All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up MASN, 333 West Camden Street, Baltimore, Maryland, 21201. Any prize or prize certificate not claimed within seven (7) days of winning will be forfeited by the winner. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its arrival. Sponsors are not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.
(c) Contest prize is not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute prize of comparable value.
4. Selection of Winners:
(a) Decisions of judges with respect to the Contest are final.
(b) One winner will be chosen in a random drawing of all eligible entries received with one correctly answered question no earlier than the close of business on Monday, February 25, 2008.
(c) Winner will be notified by phone or email. Sponsors reserve the right to determine the method of notification. The Sponsors shall not be liable for: (1) failed, returned or misdirected notifications based on inaccurate information provided by the winner on the Contest entry form; or (2) entries, and responses to winner notifications which are lost, late incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, misdirected, damaged or otherwise not received by the intended recipient in whole or in part or for computer or technical error of any kind. Winners will be given three (3) business days from the first day of notification to respond to claim prize(s). A non-response by the winner or non-receipt of notification response after the specified three (3) business days will be considered winner’s forfeiture of prize and an alternate winner may be elected from the pool of eligible entries. If an entrant is found to be ineligible for any reason in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsors, an alternate winner may also be selected from the pool of eligible entries. At the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsors, winners may be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release as a condition of acceptance of a prize.
5. Conditions:
(a) Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner and winners may receive an IRS Form 1099 or equivalent from Sponsor.
(b) By participating in the Contest, the winner agrees to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Contest, and to sign a publicity release, affidavit of eligibility and release of liability prior to acceptance of the prize. Unless a member of winner’s immediate family, travel companions must be 18 years of age or older. Travel companions must travel with winner and must also sign and return a travel release, which must be returned with winner’s affidavit of eligibility. By accepting the prize, winner grants to Sponsors the right to use the winner's and the winner’s travel companions’ name, voice, picture and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and publicity in any and all media now known or hereafter invented, without further permission or additional compensation (except where prohibited by law). All expenses on receipt and use of prize are the sole responsibility of winner. Winner, by acceptance of their prizes, agrees to release Sponsors, TCR Sports Broadcasting Holding, LLP, CBS Corporation, their respective parents and subsidiaries, and their respective advertising, promotion and production agencies from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any prize-related activity.
6. No purchase necessary. The Contest is void where prohibited by law.
7. Failure to comply with the Contest rules will result in a contestant’s disqualification.
