Video Blog: Buck Showalter talks O's offseason from the Winter Meetings

While at the Winter Meetings, Buck Showalter held court with the media for close to a half-hour, covering a wide range of Orioles offseason topics.

The Orioles manager discussed second base at length, saying he's comfortable with the options currently in the organization - Ryan Flaherty, Jemile Weeks, Jonathan Schoop and others - but he'd like to see Brian Roberts back in black and orange "in a perfect world."

Showalter also talked about the Rule 5 draft, and how difficult it is to keep such an inexperienced player on the 25-man roster for a full season - something the O's have done each of the last two years with Flaherty and left-hander T.J. McFarland.

The skipper covered several other topics as well, including outfielder Nolan Reimold, left-hander Zach Britton, the team's lack of a big move so far, the implementation of instant replay and more.
