At the high Single-A California-Carolina League All-Star Game, the Carolina League All-Stars crushed the California League All-Stars 12-2.
Carolina put the game away with five runs in the fourth and five runs in the fifth inning.
Potomac outfielder Billy Burns scored a run in the top of the first inning on a sacrifice fly, to give Carolina a 1-0 advantage. He finished 1-for-3 with two runs and a strikeout.
Right-hander Blake Schwartz pitched one inning, allowing no runs on one hit and one strikeout. Catcher Adrian Nieto also went 0-for-1 at the plate.
