Right-handed reliever Ryan Mattheus has been reinstated from the disabled list by the Nationals. He essentially becomes the team's 26th man, which is allowable on doubleheader days. The Nationals will have to make another roster move after today's second game to return to the 25-man roster limit.

Update: Eric Young Jr. (right knee) has been scratched from Mets lineup. So lineup now reads:
