I wanted to make sure you got a chance to get your tickets for the Potomac Nationals 19th annual Hot Stove Banquet which takes place Sunday, January 26th at the Hyatt Fairfax at Fair Lakes in Fairfax, Virginia.
The program begins at 5:30 p.m. and will include Washington Nationals Director of Player Development Mark Scialabba, new P-Nats manager Tripp Keister and 2013 P-Nats player of the year outfielder Michael Taylor.
There will also be a silent auction which will include hallmark items such as an autographed Bryce Harper baseball and an autographed Jayson Werth bat courtesy of the Washington Nationals, a mini basketball signed by Chris Singleton donated by the Washington Wizards, and a Frank “Hondo” Howard inscribed two-tone bat signed during his public appearance at Pfitzner Stadium during the 2013 season.

* The Nationals have signed left-handed hitting outfielder Joe Dunigan to a minor league deal. The University of Oklahoma product was drafted by the Mariners in 2007 in the fifth round. He played for Triple-A Tacoma last season for 25 games after playing the previous three seasons at the Double-A level.
The Chicago, Ill., native Dunigan batted .248 in seven minor league seasons with 110 homers and 375 RBIs, with 97 stolen bases and 126 doubles.
* Former Triple-A Syracuse right-hander Caleb Clay has signed a deal with Hanwha in Korea.
* Former Nationals outfielder and Maryland star Justin Maxwell signed a one-year deal with the Kansas City Royals, avoiding arbitration.
