Roethlisberger to miss Ravens game; to be traded as well?

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been suspended for six games for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy, the league announced today.

Roethlisberger will have to undergo a comprehensive behavioral evaluation and will have his actions monitored closely by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. Depending on Roethlisberger's behavior, Goodell could choose to lower the suspension to four games, or could even raise the ban.

This means that Roethlisberger is guaranteed to miss the Steelers' Week 4 game against the Ravens.

As if the suspension wasn't enough Roethlisberger-related news for the day, ESPN has reported that the Steelers are having discussions with other teams about a possible trade for Pittsburgh's franchise quarterback.

Per the report, the Steelers are looking for a top-10 pick in this year's draft in return for Roethlisberger.

Now that the suspension has been finalized and teams know how long Roethlisberger will need to sit this season, talks might start to materialize. With the draft nearly upon us, we'll see how this plays out over the next day or two.
