We're underway (with Cook update)

I'm back at Ravens headquarters for Day Two, and the second-round of the draft is now underway.

Hey, maybe we'll get a pick to discuss sometime in the next five hours or so.

My running joke is that the Ravens have traded out of the second and third-rounds and have accumulated 25 seventh-round picks. With the new, elongated format, it feels like we've been waiting forever for Ozzie Newsome to make a pick, but we should get some action sometime soon.

Despite the fact that the Ravens have yet to make their first selection of the draft, there's a much more relaxed vibe around here today than there was yesterday.

Media members are slowly rolling in and Ravens staffers seem a little bit looser, despite the fact that the team currently has three picks tonight, as compared to the one they originally had in the first round.

After hours of waiting last night, I'm sure many of you are hoping that the Ravens hang onto their No. 43 overall selection and finally get a player on the big board next to their team name.

UPDATE: Chris Cook, possibly the Ravens' top-rated cornerback still on the board, is now off the board. Cook has gone to the Vikings with the 34th overall pick.
