Today's minicamp has yet to end, but I wanted to duck inside for a minute to pass along word that Michael Oher has gotten every rep at left tackle so far today, with Jared Gaither moving to the right tackle spot.
Oher, last year's first-round pick, started five games at left tackle last season when Gaither went out with neck and foot injuries, but was the team's right tackle when Gaither was healthy.
The team might be switching things up this year, moving Oher to left tackle full time, and having Gaither go to the right side.
Oher played left tackle in college and the team is very high on him because of his athleticism and toughness.
It looks to me like the Ole Miss product has slimmed down a bit, in a good way. He appears to be in great shape.
The Oher/Gaither situation will be a hot topic when head coach John Harbaugh takes to the podium in a minute, and I'll obviously pass along Harbs' comments on the possible shake-up along the O-line.
