It appears that the old Colts fight song will be returning to Baltimore with a bit of a twist.
The Ravens sent out a release a few minutes ago saying they will hold a press conference tomorrow night to announce a new "Baltimore fight song".
The team held a poll on its website late in training camp, asking fans to vote on whether they would like to keep the current Ravens fight song or if they would prefer a Ravens-themed version of the old Colts song.
The current vote totals show that the latter option was preferred by the vast majority of voters. 79 percent of fans who took part in the poll said they wanted the old Colts song back.
I would assume the song will make its debut this Saturday in the Ravens' preseason game against the Giants.
There were a few players not taking part in this afternoon's practice: T Jared Gaither, T Oniel Cousins, G/C David Hale, WR Demetrius Williams and DB Marcus Paschal.
DT Brandon McKinney walked out to practice late and didn't appear ready to practice. He was wearing sweatpants and moving very slowly.
