For the most part this camp, the Ravens' quarterbacks have been right on point.
Joe Flacco has looked excellent, running the offense smoothly and firing pinpoint passes to his receiving weapons, old and new alike.
Marc Bulger has clearly established himself as the backup quarterback (as if his $3.8 million contract didn't do that already), and while the 10-year veteran still trying to learn the Ravens' terminology and the finer points of their offensive system, he has proven why GM Ozzie Newsome was wise to go get him.
Troy Smith hasn't had an exceptional camp, but he's shown flashes, including a ridiculous pass against his body in between three defenders today that Justin Harper appeared to bring in for a touchdown.
But that pass from Smith was one of the few bright spots for the Ravens' QBs today.
Flacco was picked off three times (including once in the end zone by reserve safety Marcus Paschal), flagged for intentional grounding, and "sacked" on a handful of occasions.
He wasn't alone. Bulger tossed an interception and was "sacked" twice prior to leaving practice with a hand injury, and Smith had a very average day as well.
It doesn't mean much, other than that the defense had the edge today. Knowing Flacco, he'll be out there with a little bit of a chip on his shoulder when practice starts again tomorrow morning.
