When the Ravens line up against the Steelers on Sunday, they'll see 35-year-old Charlie Batch at quarterback for Pittsburgh.
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin announced today that with Ben Roethlisberger still under his four-game suspension and Dennis Dixon out with a knee injury, Batch will get his second straight start this weekend at Heinz Field.
Batch, a 13-year veteran, got the call last Sunday against the Buccaneers, and responded by going 12-for-17 for 186 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in a 38-13 Steelers win.
Byron Leftwich was the other option for Tomlin, but he is still working back from a knee injury.
Batch is 1-3 in his career against the Ravens, with his last start against Baltimore coming back in December of 2007. In that game, the Ravens held Batch to 16-of-31 passing for 218 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
