Cundiff, Graham stuck on the sidelines

We're now over 50 minutes into tonight's preseason finale, and the most Billy Cundiff and Shayne Graham have done so far this evening is each take an extra point, take a kickoff or two, and have a few sips of Gatorade.

Both kickers came into tonight's game against the Rams hoping to lock up a spot on the Ravens' 53-man roster, but neither has had much of a chance to impress thus far.

The only time through the first three-plus quarters when a field goal try was a possibility was when the Ravens had a fourth down at the Rams' one-yard-line late in the first half. But instead of sending either Cundiff or Graham out for an 18-yard attempt (which is basically the same distance as an extra point), the Ravens opted to go for the end zone.

The one piece of information about the kickers that we can take from tonight's game so far is that Cundiff continues to absolutely crush his kickoffs.

The six-year veteran sent his only kickoff of the night nine yards deep, resulting in a touchback.

Graham's two kickoffs, meanwhile, came down at an average of the two-yard-line.

Both Cundiff and Graham have had little chance to make a final push for the Ravens' kicking job tonight. The coaches might have to make their final decision based on training camp action and the three previous preseason contests.
