Terrell Suggs is an avid movie fan, and has even started to work his way into the movie-making business.
Tonight, the Ravens linebacker will make his acting debut on television.
Suggs will make a guest appearance on FX's "The League", which airs at 10:30 tonight. Browns wide receiver/kick returner Josh Cribbs will join him as a guest star on the show.
I've watched nearly every episode of the show, which is based around a group of friends that are in a fantasy football league together, and personally find it pretty entertaining. It's not exactly Emmy Award worthy, but it's good for a laugh.
Suggs said he had a good time filming the show, but came out of it wishing the crew had given him a little more freedom with his role.
"I wish they had let me put a little more of personality in there," he said. "When you get a chance to do a show, you just do what you're told. "
"I watch it. I catch it on FX. I think it's funny. I think it's hilarious. I like the way it's structured. It's not really a script. They just let you wing it."
Who did a better job with their cameo, himself or Cribbs?
"I don't know. I would have to really look at it," Suggs said. "I have to really look at it and judge who's the funniest. It was quick and easy. Nothing outrageous."
