All week, I talked about how the Ravens were going to demolish the Bills.
Coming off last week's tough loss in New England, facing an 0-5 team who is getting compared to squads in the UFL, and with M&T Bank Stadium hopping like never before, the Ravens seemed to me like a sure bet to roll over Buffalo and head into the bye week 5-2.
Shows what I know.
The Bills somehow hold a 10-3 lead over the Ravens after the first quarter of play, thanks to a balanced offensive attack and another blunder out of the Baltimore return game.
Josh Wilson's fumble on a kickoff gave the Bills the ball at the Ravens' 15-yard line, setting Buffalo up for an easy three points. Instead of running hard north-south, Wilson spun around at the 15 and coughed up the ball.
Needless to say, the former Seahawks star returner was not on the field when the Bills sent their next kickoff into the air.
There's still plenty of time to turn things around, but it hasn't been a smooth start to this one.
