Ed Reed will be playing this weekend.
Jared Gaither won't be playing this entire season.
With Reed set to come off the Physically Unable to Perform list prior to this weekend's game against the Bills, the Ravens plan to put Gaither, who was projected to be their starting right tackle this season, on Injured Reserve with a back injury, according to multiple reports.
Gaither suffered an injury to the thoracic disc in his back the first week of training camp, and he's been sidelined every since. The fourth-year tackle has only practiced once since Aug. 5. Putting him on IR will officially end his season.
Reed will apparently be activated off PUP and will make his season debut on Sunday.
Word is that the Ravens are also strongly considering activating linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo, who is on PUP with a quadriceps injury.
The team would need to make another roster move if they decide to bring up Ayanbadejo. Defensive tackle Lamar Divens could be the guy on the chopping block if Ayanbadejo is activated.
