The Ravens' rushing attack hasn't quite been there yet this season, but with their lead cut to 10 here in the second half against the Broncos, offensive coordinator Cam Cameron relied on his running backs to churn out the tough yards and move the chains.
The result was a 14-play, 72-yard drive that covered 7:25 and ended in Ray Rice's one-yard touchdown run, giving the Ravens a 24-7 lead early in the fourth quarter.
Rice, Willis McGahee and Le'Ron McClain did the bulk of the work on the ground on the drive, and quarterback Joe Flacco even tucked the ball and used his legs to run for a big first down.
All-in-all, the Ravens picked up 50 rushing yards on 11 carries on the drive. Rice now has 92 yards rushing on the day and has his first two touchdowns of the season, both on the ground.
It's the type of rushing performance that we haven't seen yet this year from the Ravens, and it bodes well for the rest of the season that they can still move the ball using the running game and milk clock when they need to.
