Not much action in the first 25 minutes of this one, but the Buccaneers capitalized on a rare Joe Flacco home interception and have tied this game at 3-3.
Flacco tried to squeeze a pass in to T.J. Houshmandzadeh on a third down, but was picked off by Tampa Bay cornerback Aqib Talib.
Talib returned the INT 25 yards and gave the Bucs the ball at the Baltimore 36-yard line.
On the positive side, the Ravens held tough and kept the Buccaneers to a field goal. That keeps alive their streak of not allowing a touchdown after a turnover this season.
The Flacco pick was his first at home this season. His last home interception came all the way back on November 22, 2009 against the Colts.
UPDATE: That's the way to bounce back, Joe.
Flacco responded to the interception in a big way, hitting tight end Todd Heap on a 65-yard touchdown pass to give the Ravens a 10-3 lead.
Heap found himself wide open behind the Bucs secondary, and he rumbled into the end zone to give the Ravens the lead.
It's the longest reception of Heap's career, and the Ravens' longest play of the season.
With the touchdown, Flacco is now the Ravens' all-time leader in touchdown passes. The third-year QB now has 52 touchdowns, passing Vinny Testiverde for the franchise lead.
