Ed Reed missed practice yesterday with a bad illness, but the Ravens' safety returned today and participated in practice in a limited capacity.
"I don't know what was going on, it was the worst feeling of my life," Reed told reporters this afternoon. "It kind of carried over to today, right before practice. I had to get an IV and whatnot. I'm feeling alright."
Reed joked that cornerback Fabian Washington, who was sick last week, might have given him whatever illness he's got.
"I told him he gave it to me, but I'm not sure what he had," Reed said. "My stomach was killing me. I couldn't hardly keep anything to eat down. It's good to get it before Thanksgiving, I guess.
"I'm starving. I don't have anything in me but a piece of sliced toast and a little bit of oatmeal. It's definitely time to eat, oh yeah."
Oh yeah, it's time to eat indeed. I smell mom's cooking already.
