Heap, Washington sit out practice

For the second straight day, Ravens tight end Todd Heap missed practice with a hamstring injury.

Heap, who suffered the injury on the Ravens' first play from scrimmage in Sunday night's loss to the Steelers, told reporters this week that there's still a chance that he plays against the Texans on Monday night, but will be smart before deciding to return.

The two-time Pro Bowl tight end was joined on the sidelines today by CB Fabian Washington, who was downgraded from a limited practice on Thursday to no participation today.

Fellow CB Lardarius Webb (thigh) made a new appearance on the injury report today; the second-year corner was limited in today's session.

FB Le'Ron McClain had a full practice for the second straight game after missing last Sunday's contest with a sprained ankle.

For the Texans, as expected, stud WR Andre Johnson (ankle) and DE Mario Williams (groin) bother returned to practice today in a limited capacity after missing Thursday's practice.

That's part of the normal routine for those two, who usually sit out the week's first practice before picking things up a bit later in the week.

Reserve TE Garrett Graham (hamstring) has been ruled out for Monday night's game.
