McClain only Raven to miss practice

As expected, fullback Le'Ron McClain did not participate in practice today as he rests a sprained left ankle.

The good news is that McClain was the only Raven to sit out this afternoon's practice.

Safety Dawan Landry, who suffered a concussion on Sunday against the Bucs, was limited in practice today.

That means that the Ravens' starting strong safety has passed his baseline test, which is good news this early in the week.

Three Ravens are listed on the injury report as having a full practice: G Chris Chester (leg infection), TE Ed Dickson (thigh), and T Michael Oher (knee).

This is Chester's first practice back since being hospitalized with the leg infection two weeks ago.

Oher having a full practice is obviously also a good sign; the Ravens suffered a bit of a scare when he had to leave Sunday's game with a knee sprain.

For the Steelers, two starters missed practice today: S Troy Polamalu (ankle) and DE Aaron Smith (triceps).

Polamalu, a five-time Pro Bowler, is obviously the bigger name of the two, but it would be hard to imagine him missing the game on Sunday.

Pittsburgh had three starters limited in practice today: QB Ben Roethlisberger (foot), T Flozell Adams (back) and CB Bryant McFadden (hamstring). Backup defensive end Nick Eason (knee) was limited as well.
