The Browns jumped out to a 7-0 lead midway through the first quarter thanks to some trickery, but 10 Ravens points in less than two minutes has Baltimore on top.
Billy Cundiff's 27-yard field goal early in the second quarter capped off a 16-play, 80-yard drive that covered 8:26 to get the Ravens on the board.
On the very next play from scrimmage, Ravens cornerback Chris Carrstripped the ball from wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi, and it was recovered by Jameel McClain. The Ravens linebacker returned it to the Cleveland 20, and three plays later, the Ravens had the lead.
Joe Flacco hit T.J. Houshmandzadeh on a 15-yard touchdown pass on a post route, giving Baltimore a 10-7 advantage.
Flacco threaded the ball into traffic beautifully, and Houshmandzadeh was there to make his third TD grab of the season. The Ravens rarely throw the ball over the middle in the red zone, but Flacco made it look good there.
UPDATE: It's now a 13-7 Ravens lead.
Baltimore forced another turnover on Cleveland's next drive when Ed Reed picked off Browns quarterback Colt McCoy, the third turnover in the first 22 minutes for the Browns.
The turnover resulted in three more points when Cundiff added a 40-yard field goal to give Baltimore a six-point lead late in the second quarter.
