Needing to get to the 80-man roster limit by today's 4 p.m. deadline, the Ravens placed running back Matt Lawrence on injured reserve with a concussion.
This is now Lawrence's third year in a row going on injured reserve.
A knee injury caused him to miss the last six games of the regular season in 2009, and the same injury held him out of the entire 2010 campaign.
Lawrence saw action in eight games in 2009 before the knee injury, totaling 16 special teams tackles, rushing four times for 0 yards and making one catch for four yards.
The Ravens made nine cuts on Saturday, giving them 81 on the active roster at the time. Now at 80, the Ravens will need to cut down to the final 53-man roster by Saturday.
