How many NFL teams, especially those with recent playoff success, will be able to say that all of their 2011 draft picks have earned spots on the 53-man roster?
OK, that was a hypothetical question; I don't actually have an answer. But I do know one team which can make that claim - the Ravens.
With cornerback Chykie Brown, a fifth-round pick, securing a spot on the 53-man roster, all eight of the Ravens' draft picks have locked up roster spots.
Including undrafted rookie LaQuan Williams, the Ravens will have nine rookies on their roster. If you were among those wanting the team to get younger, you probably have a smile on your face right now.
Brown didn't have the strongest training camp, but he made a big play in the Ravens' preseason finale, returning an interception 65 yards for a touchdown.
He gives the Ravens six cornerbacks on the active roster for now, but it's important to remember that these rosters are by no means set.
Teams will scour the waiver wire over the next 24 hours and could add new faces to the roster. Just because a guy like Brown or Williams has made the Ravens' 53-man squad for now, doesn't mean he should go putting a down payment on an Aston Martin.
