The Ravens made a roster move this afternoon, placing linebacker Prescott Burgess on injured reserve due to a thigh injury.
For now, this leaves the Ravens with one open spot on their 53-man roster. A corresponding move has not yet been announced.
Burgess has been through quite a ride with the Ravens this season. The five-year veteran came to camp with Baltimore before being cut on Sept. 3 in the team's final round of preseason roster cuts.
He was then re-signed on Sept. 28, cut again a week later, and then re-signed on Oct. 28.
Now, Burgess' season is over. The Ravens did not announce any "substantial" injuries following Sunday's win over the Cardinals.
The Ravens also announced they've made a change to their eight-man practice squad, cutting safety Mana Silva and re-signing wide receiver Rodney Bradley.
