The Ravens upgraded their defense with their first pick in this year's draft. With the second pick, they added to their offensive line. The Ravens selected offensive lineman Kelechi Osemele out of Iowa State with the 60th overall selection in the draft. Osemele is a 6-foot-6 333 pounder. The Ravens have been looking for an offensive line upgrade after losing Ben Grubbs to the Saints.

The Ravens finally made their first pick in this year's draft after trading out of the 29th spot last night. With the pick, the Ravens decided to bolster their defense. They drafted Courtney Upshaw, a 6-foot-2 272 pound outside linebacker out of the University of Alabama. Well, we waited all night to find out the Ravens have traded out of the first round. According to this tweet from Jason La Canfora, the Ravens traded to the Vikings for the 35th and 98th picks in the draft. That is a second-round pick and a fourth-round pick. The Ravens worked out three quarterbacks. They've now apparently signed one. According to this report from Jason La Canfora, the Ravens have agreed to sign former Colts quarterback Curtis Painter. The Ravens are going to work out quarterback Kyle Boller on Thursday, according to this report from NFL.com. Boller, a former first-round pick of the Ravens in 2003, hasn't played for the franchise since 2007. Last night, the Ravens released their 2012 schedule. After taking some time to think about it, it looks like the Ravens will have another tough road ahead of them if they're going to make the playoffs for a fifth consecutive season.
