It's getting exciting around here!

I am sure that if you're reading this, you know what's going on with the Orioles.

But, just in case you just woke up from a long, long nap. Things are really starting to look up for the Orioles. No, I'm serious!

When you talk about some of the guys who were already here (Mora, Roberts, Markakis, Guthrie and Huff); some of the players drafted before Andy MacPhail took over (Wieters, Reimold, Bergesen, Arietta, Berken, D. Hernandez and others); and add to that the guys MacPhail traded for since he's been here (Patton, Tillman, Jones, Scott and others). On top of that, add recent draft picks like Brian Matusz and others.

It's getting very exciting around here.

Look, I am the first one to tell people not to get all whacked out on a bunch of prospects. But, the players I'm talking about look to be real prospects.

I mean they look like totally different guys compared to some of the prospects we have run through Baltimore the past 7-10 years.

So, get your tickets and come out to the Yard. It'll be fun watching all of these pieces come together.
