I like what I see from Robert Andino.
He didn't get a chance to play every day for the Marlins. They have some guy named Hanley Ramirez.
It didn't look like he would get a chance to play every day here either. The Orioles had just signed some guy named Cesar Izturis.
But, baseball is a marathon. It will test your whole organization to the max.
When I saw Andino play earlier in the season, it looked like he was trying to be flashy.
He needs to understand that he just needs to make the plays. That means catch it and throw it accurately.
EVERY time!
That doesn't mean dive up the middle or in the hole - Great Play! - then, on a ball hit right at him, throw it into the stands. Since filling in for Izturis, I have seen a different Andino. I like the one I see right now.
He could fill in well enough to take over that spot before the end of Izturis' contract.
