John Lannan started Opening Day for the Nats, but struggled at the beginning of the year so he was optioned to Double-A Harrisburg. However, since being recalled on Aug. 1, Lannan is 3-0 with a 3.09 ERA. He has also struck out 15 batters while walking only five hitters.
