Riggleman’s career leads him back to D.C.

Nationals manager Jim Riggleman, who grew up in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., has spent 36 years in professional baseball.

His family still resides in the area and he believes Washington is the right place for him to end his career in baseball.

Riggleman attended Frostburg State and has gone on to manage the San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs and Seattle Mariners before being named manager of the Nationals last season.
