Losses are rough for all of us, but Nats fans should hang tough

I say good riddance to the Colorado Rockies!

After taking 3 out of 4 from the Rocks in the mile high city, what, less than two weeks ago, MIlwaukee, the NY Mets and our friends from Colorado have played their best against Washington, while the Nationals have really fallen upon hard times.

Losing is no fun. Not for the players; not for the fans; and yes, not even for the broadcasters.

We all see up close how much these guys want to win, try to win; and eventually they will start winning again. Painful is the word that comes to mind for all parties.

But baseball is such an interesting game that any fan knows when you get to the ballpark, anything can happen and usually does.

It is important for every Nationals fan, young and old, to hang in there with the ballclub. They need your support, probably at this stage of the season more than they ever have.

Not one single player is asking for pity. Not one single player is making excuses or pointing fingers. It is what it is, a tough time for everyone.

When the Nats won 6 out of 7 before things got a little rough, seems as if everything was going their way--good pitching, good hitting, and in the same game mind you!

There are growing pains associated with a young club, but eventually those pains vanish and the "W's" start to appear more frequently.
