Okay let me say it and get it out of the way. This is getting to be ridiculous!
Is there no justice in the game of baseball? And just what does this Washington Nationals ballclub have to do to get a win?
I've heard all the answers and who should get the blame.
But you know something, these young major leaguers will go out there for the next game and give it their best shot to end this slide and get back to playing winning baseball.
Now more than ever, this club needs support. Heck, they are certainly capable to reeling off seven wins in a row, at least I keep telling myself that. But I believe it too. The offense is not the problem; mental mistakes will come back to haunt you every time, and the bullpen needs a rabbit's foot to do some magic work.
Hang in there guys - as Manny says, no one person is to blame for this rough time of the season. The Nats win as a team and lose as a team.
Winning would put smiles on a lot of faces at Nationals Park, not to mention the players and the broadcasters. Gotta keep the faith!!
