Thank You from the bottom of my heart

Just a quick note to thank everyone who took the time to make a donation or stop by in person at Wednesday night's "Buzz a Thon" held at Kentlands Barber shop.

The shop's owner, Bernie Alferez, gets a big THANK YOU for opening his doors to the general public for what turned out to be a wonderfully successful evening.

I cannot begin to thank the MASN viewers enough for your nice notes of concern, well wishes and prayers for my grandson Jack Rolle.

I only wish that you could meet Jack in person. He is a terrific kid, a dynamite brother, and I might add, quite the golfer. No way do I play Jack, unless he gives me strokes, and so far that has not happened!

He will celebrate his 11th birthday on June 24th. This Saturday night, a bithday party is being held for the amazing Jacko at Nationals Park. I hope you get an opportunity to meet him.

One of these days, cancer will be cured. Our research today is better than ever; our doctors have more resources at their fingertips than ever before. As my family copes with Jack's illness, we have all come together with one common goal: Win this battle and support Jack in any way that we can.

So many families are dealing with a similiar situation, and they need our support as well.
Donations are still welcome, and if you're so inclined, you may send a check to The Brain Tumor Institute.

Payable to:
Childrens National Medical Center

It would be in honor of Jack Rolle.

The Nats are heading back home for a nice homestand against Toronto and Boston starting Friday...see you at the ballpark.
