Third month's a charm

Thank goodness June is finally here. The win-loss numbers speak for themselves, so no need to beat a dead horse there.

But I've gotta believe things will get better for this ballclub. I can hear the echos now of "Yeah? Tell us how!"

And that's the type of question every Nats fan should be asking.

We discussed this the other night: as bad as you and I feel about this losing streak, the defense, the bullpen, the lack of fundamental execution, how do you think Stan Kasten feels, or Mike Rizzo, Manny Acta, the coaches and every single member of this team?

I think it affects them big time. But you know as well and I do that things can turn around quickly. What a couple of "W's" would do now would be to recharge the batteries and get everyone back to supporting the club.

I'm not about to give up on them!

This team needs to play better, and that isn't earth shattering news to anyone. Can they and will they is up to them.

See you at NatsTown, and here's hoping for better results as we head into the 3rd month of the 2009 season - Taking the series from the San Francisco Giants would be a great way to start.
