Nationals announce spring training broadcast schedule

Washington Nationals broadcast partners Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN) and 106.7 The Fan will broadcast a total of 13 Nationals Spring Training matchups throughout the weeks leading up to the start of the 2013 regular season. The Nationals 2013 Grapefruit League schedule features six games televised by MASN and five games airing on 106.7 The Fan, with five broadcasts on partner station CBS Sports Radio 1580. In addition, ESPN will broadcast the Nationals-New York Mets contest from Viera, Fla., on March 28.

106.7 The Fan will broadcast the first home game of the spring on February 24 when the Nationals play the Miami Marlins at Space Coast Stadium at 1:05 p.m. Charlie Slowes and Dave Jageler will return to the booth for their eighth consecutive season together as the Nationals radio voices.

Nationals TV play-by-play announcer Bob Carpenter will join color analyst F.P. Santangelo on February 28 for the first televised spring game, when Washington hosts the New York Mets at 6:05 p.m.

The complete 2013 Spring Training broadcast schedule is available below. In addition to the Grapefruit League matchups, every available regular season Nationals game and each "Nats Xtra" pregame and post-game show will be shown on either MASN or MASN2, while 106.7 The Fan will offer regular reports from Nationals Spring Training and broadcast regular-season games throughout 2013.
