Orioles team up with Southwest Airlines on “Trip Around the Ballpark” promotion

As part of the 25th anniversary of Oriole Park at Camden Yards, the Orioles and Southwest Airlines have teamed up to launch a new interactive promotion throughout the 2017 season. Available exclusively within the free MLB.com Ballpark mobile application, “Trip Around the Ballpark” presented by Southwest Airlines encourages fans to check in at designated points of interest around “The Ballpark That Forever Changed Baseball.” Beginning Friday, May 5 and running through the end of the season, fans who complete the ballpark tour will receive an Oriole Park at Camden Yards commemorative print, as well as be entered to win one of five prizes of round-trip air travel for two, courtesy of Southwest Airlines.

The points of interest include:

* Eutaw Street Home Run Medallions
* Center Field Roof Deck
* Orioles Legends Park
* Championship Flag Mural on lower concourse behind home plate
* Kids’ Corner

Additionally, fans who check-in on the MLB.com Ballpark App throughout the season will be entered into a monthly drawing to win 25,000 Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Points (one entry per game).

Other prizes throughout the season include a limited edition “25th Anniversary” t-shirt to 25 fans who check in during each home game, a seat upgrade for one of the first 200 fans to check in at each home game, and opportunities to win on-field pregame experiences or autographed promotional items.
