The Orioles will host “Birdland Social,” a Social Media Night event presented by GBMC HealthCare, on Tuesday, July 24, prior to the 7:05 p.m. ET game against the Boston Red Sox. The exclusive pregame party will take place on the center field Roof Deck and will include question-and-answer sessions with Orioles infielder Tim Beckham (Instagram & Twitter: @t_beckham1) and MASNsports.com writer Roch Kubatko (Twitter: @masnRoch), hosted by Orioles public address announcer Ryan Wagner (Twitter: @rwags614).
Tickets for the Birdland Social pregame party range from $35 to $60 and include access to the private Roof Deck event, a catered menu, two drink coupons per person, a game ticket to the July 24 game (Roof Deck, Eutaw Street Bleachers, or Upper Reserve with varied pricing), a social media themed Orioles t-shirt, and Q&A sessions with Beckham and Kubatko. The party will begin at 5:00 p.m. and continue until 6:30 p.m.
New at this year’s event, to allow for earlier access to watch pregame batting practice, Birdland Social attendees will be permitted to enter the ballpark beginning at 4:30 p.m. through the 323 West Camden Street lobby in the Warehouse at Oriole Park. A limited number of tickets are available for purchase exclusively at www.orioles.com/birdlandsocial.
Fans are encouraged to use #BirdlandSocial throughout the game. There will be various promotions and prizes for all fans attending the July 24 game including:
Catch a #Winner” The popular “Catch a #Winner” promotion will return during pregame batting practice. Fans who retrieve baseballs that have been stamped “#Winner” can redeem a special prize at the booth located just outside the Warehouse Fan Assistance Center on Eutaw Street.
#BirdlandSocial Photo Booth: Bring your game face and pose with your friends and family in our #BirdlandSocial Photo Booth at Kids’ Corner near Gate C, featuring fun O’s and baseball-themed props. Share on your Twitter or Instagram accounts using #BirdlandSocial for a chance to be featured on the video board. Several of the photos will also be featured on the Orioles’ official Instagram story.
#BringMeFood: During the game, fans who tweet using #BringMeFood will be eligible to receive complimentary food delivered to their seats, just by tweeting the hashtag along with their desired menu item, and their exact seat location.
