The Baltimore Ravens named three outstanding community volunteers as the 2008 Community Quarterback Award recipients. The award, funded by NFL Charities and the Ravens All Community Team Foundation (RACTF), recognizes outstanding volunteers who demonstrate leadership, dedication and a commitment to bettering their communities. Ravens QB Joe Flacco and T Adam Terry will join assistant head coach/defensive coordinator Rex Ryan in supporting Special Olympics Maryland at "A Raven in a Pear Tree" Holiday Party this Monday, Dec. 8. Terry and Ryan are official spokespersons for the nonprofit organization which provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
