Not only did Chad Moeller throw out Carlos Pena trying to steal to end the top of the third, he homered off Jeff Niemann leading off the bottom half of the inning.
Take that!
Moeller’s blast to left field increased the Orioles’ home run total to 13. It also cut the Rays’ lead to 2-1.
Moeller has accounted for the Orioles’ lone hit off Niemann as we enter the top of the fourth. Robert Andino just struck out on three pitches and took a really bad swing on the last one.

Update: Sarfate allowed a run in the fourth on Matt Joyce’s double, a ground out and Reid Brignac’s sacrifice fly. Tampa Bay 3, Orioles 1.
Sarfate has allowed two runs and five hits in three innings this spring.
