Ladies: Sign up now for interactive Nats U clinic Saturday

Ladies, I’m going to let you in on a little secret: Guys love girls who like baseball.

We love the idea of taking you to a game and knowing you’re sitting there enjoying the sport as much as we are. We like to know that if you come home and we’re in the midst of a no-hitter on TV, you don’t mind slumping right belong side us on the couch and watching.

That’s the beauty of sports. Sports are exciting, they’re action-packed, heart-breaking at times, yet always unpredictable and always leaving us wanting more. In short, and hopefully not overstepping my boundaries here, sports are a lot like women.

It’s the theory I have that leads me to believe every person - man, woman or child - can love sports, particularly baseball. And ladies, I’m pleased to announce the chance for you to brush up on your baseball knowledge with the Nationals as part of “NATS U: Baseball for Women.”

This Saturday at 10 a.m., the Washington Nationals will host the 2011 NATS U clinic and speakers series, where participants will get the chance to take part in an interactive experience learning all about baseball and have the opportunity to attend the July 9 game that evening.

Packages start at just $50 and can be upgraded to a $150 package that includes a seat in the all-inclusive PNC Diamond Club with complimentary food, draft beer and house wine.

For $50, fans will receive an outfield reserve seat, attendance to the clinic and speaker series, gift bag, happy hour and more.

Also, for an upgrade to $150, you get all of the features but will be seated just feet from home plate in the PNC Diamond Club (tickets regularly priced at $170), where complimentary food, draft beer and house wine await.

To purchase tickets or for more information, go here.

Ladies, we all know you deserve a night out, and what better way to spend it than at the ballpark with some of the best seats in the house. So get your tickets, become a baseball expert and impress the heck out of the men in your life (even more than you already have, of course).
