If you were occupied by holiday festivities this week, it’s OK, because it was a rather slow week of baseball news, barring the power rankings that labeled the Nats a team to watch for the 2013 season.

While D.C. is preparing to watch the Redskins fight for a division title, MASNsports.com’s Dan Kolko compared the team’s surprising season to that of the Nationals.

Again, this week’s news is the lack of news regarding Adam LaRoche.
