Spring training is here, and baseball is back!

Pitcher Gio Gonzalez spoke to reporters Tuesday, addressing the offseason news that linked him to the Miami-area Biogenesis clinic. The hurler announced that he felt he would be cleared, and he also spent time talking about his decision to play for Team USA in the World Baseball Classic.

Fellow starter Stephen Strasburg threw a bullpen session Tuesday, the first in what he calls his first normal offseason.

Davey Johnson announced in 2013’s inaugural media session, that he learned about the Rafael Soriano signing while he was traveling in Africa. Currently, the closer’s arrival at spring training has been delayed due to visa issues.

Catcher Wilson Ramos is eyeing a starting job, and he was behind the plate yesterday for the first time since May.
