About Sunday night’s game ... (updated)

Because of Friday night’s rainout - thanks, Tropical Storm Andrea - the Twins and Nationals will play a split doubleheader Sunday. You can check out the particulars here, including the times of the games and ticket exchange policies.

Now if you’re not heading to the (hopefully) sunny shores of the Anacostia on Sunday evening, you’ll probably be watching the game on MASN. Because the network wasn’t given permission to broadcast the game until Friday evening - long after most television grids for Sunday newspapers and on-screen programming guides for cable, satellite and telcos operators were finalized - there may be some confusion about where you’ll find the game.

We’re here to ease you confusion and limit the wear and tear on your remote control clicking finger.

Sunday’s day game will air, as previously scheduled, on MASN2 HD. The nightcap of the twinbill, beginning at 7:05 p.m., will air on MASN HD. “Nats Xtra” will kick off our evening coverage at 6:30 p.m., also on MASN HD.

So gather together a late dinner or an early evening snack, settle into your recliner or sofa and tune to MASN HD for coverage of the Twins-Nationals interleague finale on Sunday night.

Update: For those of you attending Sunday’s games, the Nationals have announced that the gates will open for the nightcap either 90 minutes after the conclusion of the last out of the afternoon game or at 6 p.m., whichever is later.
