An immature man’s pitching matchup (Moore addition official)

Being as immature as I am, I can’t help but chuckle at today’s pitching matchup, which features the Nationals’ Chien-Ming Wang against the Mets’ R.A. Dickey.

Wang vs. Dickey. For all the marbles.

It was an incredibly low-key morning, as players slowly trickled into the Nats’ clubhouse with their suits ready for the road trip which they’ll leave for after the game.

Tyler Moore has officially been recalled from Triple-A Syracuse and Carlos Maldonado was placed on the 15-day DL with a lower back strain.

I talked to a yawning Moore in the Nats’ clubhouse, who said he got in to Washington between 1-2 a.m. this morning. Despite the nighttime travel, he insisted he got enough sleep and is excited to be back with the Nats after just a few days down in Triple-A.

Davey Johnson’s lineup still hadn’t been posted by the time we talked to him about a half-hour ago, but according to the Nats’ skipper, here’s how it will look:

LF Steve Lombardozzi
CF Bryce Harper
3B Ryan Zimmerman
1B Adam LaRoche
RF Michael Morse
SS Ian Desmond
2B Danny Espinosa
C Jhonatan Solano
P Chien-Ming Wang
