As the O’s depart from the Yard for their last road trip of the 2010 season, we’ll stick around Oriole Park a little longer here in the Orioles Buzz for another round of ‘Where in the Yard?’.
This week’s image is something I’ve probably walked by a hundred times without noticing until I found myself on a hunt for more unique images from around the Birds’ ballpark. So we’ll see if you’re more observant than I was...
As always, take a look at the photo below and let us know what the item is and where it’s located in or around Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Then check back to see if your name has been added to the list of O’s fans who have guessed correctly.
Good luck and Go O’s!
So far Charles B from SP, Chris in Baltimore, and Stouffer have this one completely. Zevi L and Joe R get half points - Zevi for guessing the correct item, wrong location; Joe for guessing the correct location without identifying what the item is...
Not only did Joe R grab the other half point for correctly identifying where this item is located, but Troy, Scotty B, and Baensor (o’s fan) have guessed correctly as well, while Lauren earns a half point for identifying the image without the correct location.
So without further delay, this week’s image is of the “Birds of Baltimore” - This tribute to the various Oriole Birds used over the years is located in the Carvel Kids Corner, where each Bird is accompanied by a blurb just below each depiction.
For me, it was one of those little things about Camden Yards that you pick up anew no matter how many times you’ve been there; so if you’ve never checked it out, take a detour to the kids corner to take a look when you’re at the Yard for the Birds’ final homestand of 2010 next weekend!
