While the regular season has wrapped up, it’s time to recap how Orioles fans won cash throughout the season, thanks to the Maryland Lottery!

All season long, fans had the chance to win $50,000 instantly by playing Maryland Lottery Home Run Riches Scratch-Offs. Fans were also able to enter their non-winning tickets for a chance to be selected as the Maryland Lottery Contestant of the Game, which awarded $500 for being selected and an additional $500 for every Orioles home run hit during that game.

With the Orioles belting 188 home runs during the 2018 season, Contestants of the Game were awarded $176,000 in total prizes!

Seven times during the 2018 season, the Orioles hit four home runs in a game, including a 9-6 win on August 5 in which Contestant of the Game - John Twigg of Ellicott City - won $2,500. Trey Mancini led the team with 24 home runs, good for $12,000 awarded to Contestants of the Game.
