The home opener has brought a new energy to Baltimore. Fans are excited; there's orange and black everywhere; and the sounds of baseball are echoing through the Yard once more.
Welcomes were mostly warm for this O's squad, and the enthusiasm for young Orioles like Matt Wieters and Brian Matusz showed how energized the fan base is with the emergence of so much potential in the Orioles' youth.
And though the Orange Carpet has already been rolled up for another season, things are underway at Oriole Park and there are still 81 more home games to enjoy at the Yard.
But if you're here today, you've seen the banners, the balloons, the new seats, the vendors and the fellow fans. You've smelled the Boog's and maybe you even caught the man himself, as he paid a visit to his BBQ stand before throwing out a ceremonial first pitch along with fellow former Oriole Brooks Robinson.

ARAMARK will staff approximately 60 permanent and portable food stands, 75 private suites, and the Camden Club restaurant in order to feed fans at Oriole Park this season.
From those venues, fans will eat:

â€¢ 3,700 Soft Pretzels
â€¢ 2,500 Boog's Pit Beef Sandwiches
â€¢ 1,500 Hamburgers

â€¢ 1,300 Orders of Nachos
â€¢ 1,200 Orders of Chicken Tenders
â€¢ 1,500 Gallons of Soda
â€¢ 1,400 Bottles of Water
